What it does
Same Energy searches by visual resemblance. You can paste an image, upload one, or begin with one of the broad categories on the homepage. Selecting a result immediately produces another field of related images.
The matches are not limited to identical objects. They often follow the lighting, palette, framing or overall atmosphere of the source, which makes the tool useful before you have settled on the right vocabulary for a project.
Where it fits
This is strongest at the exploratory stage of design, photography, interiors or illustration work. It is faster than repeatedly rewriting a text query and more open-ended than searching a single image library.
A useful approach is to begin with something close, then make several deliberate jumps toward a colour, material or composition. Save the strongest references outside the site as you go so the search trail does not become the project.
What makes it different
Traditional image search is organised around labels and popularity. Same Energy is organised around visual proximity. The result is less predictable, and often much better for discovering references that do not share a convenient name.
