SCREENSHOT / SEPTEMBER 2026

RetroCast turns a local forecast into a sequence of old-style television weather screens. Current conditions, regional comparisons and forecasts rotate through a deliberately dated visual format, using present-day weather rather than archived broadcasts.

Start the forecast

Select a location and start RetroCast. The presentation moves through weather panels automatically, with an audio control if you want sound alongside the graphics.

What makes it useful

It works as a glanceable background display: temperatures, conditions and forecast text are the content, not just decoration. The appeal is watching familiar information presented at a slower television pace.

Check location and units

Confirm the selected place and displayed units before reading the numbers. The retro appearance does not make this a historical-weather archive, and the rotating panels are less direct than a normal forecast table.

Things to know

  • Forecast data can change after the screenshot was taken.
  • Audio and automatic transitions may be distracting.
  • Use official warnings for urgent weather decisions.
